I have to thank my good buddy Betsy Hijazi for the idea for this section of my site. She suggested this months ago and I, being the dense person I can sometimes be, didn’t think to start it until today. I realized that I will be attending at least two of these reality stars’ charity events in the next three months, so her idea finally got through. (Thanks, Betsy!)

Anyway, one of the things that occurs to most people when they meet a group of reality stars is that they often have a desire to give back to others who are less fortunate. They have a “15 minutes” of fame, and many of them want to use it to do some good for others. So from now on, I’m going to highlight those activities on this site. I’ve added a new section (It’s just got a couple of pages so far, but give me a few days and it will begin to take shape as the reality stars I know give me information for their charities.)

Check it out in the sidebar. It’s a permanent page on this site and it will be under the main page of Reality Stars Give Back. I’m going to give each charity a page and any reality stars who want to send me updates, they will be on that charity’s page.

Right now, the big push is to find reality stars to help with the upcoming Reality Rumble event on October 4th in Virginia. I have posted about it before, but any time you want to find out what’s happening with it, check that page. My friend Tim Lawler will be sending me regular updates for it.

There will also be a page for the huge Survivor Dodgeball event in November added too. I’m hoping that this will become a place for reality stars to promote their events, and for the reality fans to find out how to meet them while supporting their causes.

Several weeks ago, I let you know about some of the charitable works that a lot of former reality stars get involved in. One of them is the Survivor Dodgeball event I’ll be attending again this year in November. And one of the others is the Reality Rumble series of events.

My friend, Tim Lawler has sent me an update about the upcoming Reality Rumble event to take place on October 4th. Tim is the organizer for Reality Rumble and the October 4th event should be the most spectacular yet. Every day, he gets more reality stars involved, so I’ll keep updating the roster as new names are added. Tim is still recruiting former reality stars to help raise money to help a wonderful group of young people who truly deserve all of our help! That’s why I’m posting this appeal today. I’m hoping that more reality stars will contact Tim and make an appearance at the event that weekend. Here’s what Tim says about the event:

On Saturday October 4th South Atlantic Wrestling and Coach Chris Dodson will be holding a Reality Rumble event at Spotswood High School in Penn Laird, Virginia to raise money for his classroom, Spotswood High School’s Special Stars.

Absolutely 100% Of the money from this event will be used to help buy adapted tricycles for physical therapy and other learning devices to help the students in the classroom. The money will also be used for field trips for the students.

For the Reality Stars that come in and take part in this event we offer beautiful shared condos at Massanutten Resort with access passes to all recreation and activities. This includes their huge indoor water park which where we will also be doing an autograph session. We also provide several meals at local restaurants and there will be a special V.I.P post-event party at a local club. Because of some stars travel distance you are welcome to come in as early as Wednesday October 1st. Several meet & greets will be set up around the area at local businesses offering sponsorship to help promote the event and sell tickets.

On October 4th the doors will open at 5:30 P.M. for a two hour meet & greet session with the fans. We encourage the reality stars to bring merchandise/photos, etc. to sell during these meet & greets. You will also get the chance to meet the students of the class for whom you are raising money.

Reality stars that come to help are not required to be involved in the Pro Wrestling portion of the event but if you want to be part of it we can arrange something and get you licensed at the event. The reality stars are there to meet their fans, give their fans a chance to meet them and help the students of Spotswood High School’s Special Stars.

We appreciate everyone that signs up to help. We need your confirmation now so we can get the number of condos needed for our stars. Please sign up and help us make this event a huge success.

Coach Dodson and his Street Team are working on setting up a Texas Hold ‘em Poker event for October 2nd; Watch Survivor: Gabon with the stars on October 2nd and other events to help the community get more involved in our cause. For those of you that watched BRAVO’S A-LIST AWARDS, the featured Designer that designed Kathy Griffin’s gown was none other than Project Runway’s own genius, Nick Verreos!!

And for those of you who don’t know, Nick is the brother of Survivor: Fiji hottie Rita Verreos. I am very happy to say that Rita (Lip Gloss) and I have become friends and she will be making some Reality Rumble appearances!!

Also, don’t forget that Reality Rumble’s own Special Enforcer Referee Cindy “Rodeo” Steedle has a new Reality Show starting in July called VH1’s I LOVE MONEY. “Rodeo” is one of Reality Rumble’s full time Stars!!

Other Reality Rumble full time Stars include: Billy Garcia and David & Mary Conley.

Sadly Kynt & Vyxsin will be moving to Los Angeles, California in July but they did tell me that they will still make any Reality Rumble event that they are able to make it to. I wish them nothing but success and fame in L.A.!!!

Reality Rumble will be announcing more Reality Stars that will be joining us at future events soon. One of the Stars that will be joining us is Survivor: Micronesia’s Erik Reichenbach!!! Survivor: Micronesia beauty Tracy Hughes-Wolf will also be returning to Reality Rumble!

• August 9th: THE VETTA - ST. CHARLES in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a fundraiser for the American Red Cross to help storm victims.
• October 4th: SPOTSWOOD HIGH SCHOOL in Penn Laird, Virginia. This is a fundraiser for Spotswood High School’s Special Stars. Already signed for this event: WCW / ECW Legend Scotty Riggs and he will be bringing with him his tag-team partner from Raven’s Flock, Sick Boy!! We are also honored to announce that one of the greatest Journalist in Pro Wrestling history will be at Spotswood High School; The one and only Bill Apter will be there and he will be Hosting a very special APTER’S ALLEY live in the ring for the Fans that night!! • October 18th & 19th: OCTOBER COMIC & HORROR FESTIVAL 2008 at the TENNESSEE STATE FAIRGROUNDS in Nashville, Tennessee.
