Cas Haley Talks To His Fans
July 26, 2008 by Lynn

If you watched last season’s America’s Got Talent, you know that one of the finalists was the very talented Cas Haley. I was personally very disappointed that he didn’t win. I’m totally NOT a fan of puppet shows. He got robbed!
Anyway, the show was good for his career after all. He has a new album out (and it includes that fabulous acoustic version of Walking on the Moon that I love!) and here’s a clip of him in a photo shoot recently. He seems like such a down-to-earth guy. Check it out:
And in this video, Cas talks about reading each and every message sent to him on YouTube and MySpace. And he talks about what the music means. (Be sure to go get your copy of his new CD!)
My Favorite Contestant So Far on America’s Got Talent
Yes, I loved the insurance selling opera singer. He’s incredible.
And I was very moved by the young man who was twirling the fire batons.
But I hope you’ll forgive me that this adorable little 4-year-old girl, Kaitlin Mahar stole my heart. Who is with me when I say, just give the kid the money and let’s all go home! She can use it for college and singing lessons…
You’ll see what I mean:
America’s Got Talent Premieres Tonight!
June 17, 2008 by Lynn
Yes, folks, with summertime comes the hugely successful America’s Got Talent competition. This season looks like it will be as much fun as ever. Piers Morgan (The Celebrity Apprentice) is back to judge along with David Hasselhoff (remember, don’t Hassel the Hoff…) and the lovely Sharon Osbourne when the new season premieres tonight on NBC at 9/8c.
The Hoff takes us behind the scenes to show us what really goes on. Check it out:
Piers Morgan: The Bad Boy of Reality TV
February 4, 2008 by Lynn
Fans of Celebrity Apprentice know Piers Morgan as the polarizing force in the board room, and the perfect foil for Omarosa. People who love America’s Got Talent, know him as the blunt-talking, often even rude judge who made Sharon Osborne leave the stage and fling her fake eyelashes in anger. But did you know that he’s also a very successful journalist?
AskMen.com just published an article about Piers that will probably give you a lot of brand new insights into the plain-talking Brit. (Among many other things I learned about him, I was shocked to find that Piers and I share a birthday. Who knew?) Here are some little-known facts about him:
Piers Morgan’s run on America’s Got Talent made him a recognizable face to North American TV audiences, but his accomplishments go far beyond that. In England, he appears on the British equivalent, Britain’s Got Talent, with Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden. (Can you imagine Piers and Simon together on one show? Wow!)
There’s something admirable about being a guy who other people love to hate. Piers Morgan is as famous for his TV and writing endeavors as he is for acquiring enemies. Among his most notable foes is Jeremy Clarkson, host of Top Gear for British TV. When they were both invited for the Concorde’s final flight, insults and glasses of water went flying, and when they found themselves at the British Press Awards, a fistfight broke out after Piers published photos of Clarkson with another woman.
But don’t stop with these facts; be sure to go read the entire article here. And stay tuned this Thursday to see if The Donald fires him on Celebrity Apprentice.

America’s Got Talent: Terry Fator Wins
August 21, 2007 by Lynn
Congratulations to Terry Fator for being the 2007 winner of America’s Got Talent. With his amazing ventriloquist act, he won the hearts of America. Who would have thought that Piers would actually witness a ventriloquist act as the Best New American Act?
I must admit that I will remain a fan of Cas Haley and totally expect him to be recording more CDs in the near future (so I can buy them, and so can you!)
Way to go, Terry! Great job!
