Who Says That Animals Can’t Love?
I have heard my share of naysayers who are convinced that animals simply are incapable of feeling emotions like love. As a person who has had dogs and/or cats in my life since I was quite small, I know otherwise. As my good friend Cindy puts it, “people who think that cats can’t love have never been loved by a cat.” Well put!
That being said, there’s a sensational video being featured on shows like The View, the Today Show and others that I just have to share with you. It isn’t technically a “reality show” but instead, it’s reality. It touched my heart and I hope it will touch yours.
This is about two young men in London in the 60s who, on a whim, adopted a pet lion cub. When he became too big to keep in their home, they reintroduced him to the wild. This video shows the reunion that happened a year later when they found him again. (Get your tissues ready…)
