Where Are They Now? Mary and David Conley - Team Kentucky: The Amazing Race [Guest Post]

My friend, Betsy Hijazi has been with me at various reality TV events and was kind enough to be the Reality Exploits Correspondent for me at the Survivor: Micronesia red carpet event last month. She’s a very talented blogger in her own right and will be with me again at the Survivor Dogeball charity event in November. She lives in Boston and is elated that the Celtics were victorious.

One of The Amazing Race’s favorite teams has been Mary and David Conley, aka Team Kentucky. Their honest and down-to-earth attitude won over tv fans and fellow contestants alike. Mary and David were so well liked that they were brought back for The Amazing Race All-Stars! Mary and David checked in with us and this is what they had to say:

This is Mary and David Conley, Jr. You may know us as the coalminer and his wife on The Amazing Race 10 and All-Stars. Since the shows we have done a lot of charity events. We are involved in the Kentuckiana police and firefighters charity to help raise money for Kosair Children’s Hospital. We are also involved in the Reality Rumble events with Mr. Terrific Tim Lawler. With Reality Rumble we are going to St. Louis, Missouri in August to help raise money for the American Red Cross for the tornado victims. In October we go to Penn Laird, VA to once again raise money for special stars, children with disabilities. And in November we are attending Reality Castaway Dodgeball/Reality Rumble in NYC. Reality Rumble is an awesome organization that is helping people across the country. In September we have been invited to Iowa to attend a fundraiser for the YMCA camp with our children.

Since the race gave us the world, we have chosen to give back and that is the one thing that we are happy to do.
