Where Are They Now? Lea “Sarge” Masters – Survivor: Vanuatu [Guest Post]

Guest Correspondent: Betsy Hijazi My friend, Betsy Hijazi has been with me at various reality TV events and was kind enough to be the Reality Exploits Correspondent for me at the Survivor: Micronesia red carpet event last month. She’s a very talented blogger in her own right and will be with me again at the Survivor Dogeball charity event in November. She lives in Boston and is elated that the Celtics were victorious.

Sarge Everyone remembers Sarge from Survivor: Vanuatu. How can you not? Sarge came to our television sets with an impressive resume, having dedicated the last 20 years to America’s Armed Forces as an officer in the U.S. Army. This July, Sarge bids a fond farewell to his Army brethren and joins the rank and file as a civilian. Thank you, Sarge, for your lifelong dedication to serving our country. Here’s our “Where are they now” update, directly from Sarge! (And we’ll see you in New York in November!)

Well I just returned from Iraq after an 18 month tour and I am currently in the process of retiring from the U.S. Army after 22 years. I am heading to the east coast. I’m not sure exactly where yet; somewhere between North Carolina and Georgia, but it must be 20 minutes from the ocean!

I am graduating from college on July 13 and will be signing out of Ft. Bliss, Texas on 21 July, heading home.

I am currently in my part time doing DJ and KJ work for all types of parties, so get your party booked for Sarge! LOL had to throw the ad in there.

I will be attending the fundraiser in Louisville this weekend, then I will be in Bristol Tennessee for a week in August. After that there is the SIDS Foundation Survivor challenge in Houston the weekend of 6 Sep. Then I will be in Spotswood, Virginia for Reality Rumble the weekend of 4 Oct, and then a week at Lowes Motor Speedway the weekend of 13 Oct. Finishing off the year is Reality Dodgeball with Billy Garcia the weekend of 9 Nov.

Hope everyone is having a blast this summer as it is hot as hell in El Paso, averaging 106 every day. Ya’ll have a blast and treat each night like it is your last. Peace out.
