Mookie Lee’s Charity: Bigfoot Triathlon Volunteers Needed… [Guest Post]

Mookie Lee was on Survivor: Fiji and I’ve had the pleasure to get to have drinks and talk to him at a couple of reality events. He’s a fun, intelligent and nice guy. After he returned home from Survivor, he started his own charity ACTIVE Chicago Foundation to help underpriveledged kids. When I asked if he had something to post, he was quick to respond with an appeal for volunteers. He’s a very busy man and will be at the Survivor Dodgeball event on Long Island on November 9. ACTIVE Chicago is at it again! We’re sponsoring 10 underprivileged Chicago high schoolers to run the Harbor Lights Triathlon in Milwaukee on July 20th.

The kids need gear, and we’ve arranged for some free (and totally sweet) Tri jerseys (singlets) for them on one condition.

We need some volunteers to help out at the Bigfoot Triathlon in Lake Geneva on June 22nd. It’s easy… we’re running a water station… which actually involves NO running… just slugging back and passing out water.

If you want to help out, or have recently been released from prison and need the community service hours, please join us. We’d appreciate the help! I’ll be there… the kids will be there…
