Last week, we saw Ozzie give up his chance at a million dollars for a donut. And he really had a very good chance of winning, if he had made it to the finals. But he went down without playing the Immunity Idol, just like James did last season. It just doesn’t pay to be too sure of oneself in Survivor.

That’s why one would think that Jason would have learned the lesson. He saw that happen to James last season, and to Ozzie last tribal counsel, but even though he had found the Immunity Idol, he didn’t play it this week. Lesson: With this crowd of players, anyone who gets Immunity should play it right away!

Now it’s down to Erik, James and te girls. James now knows that his showmance has turned on all of the men, including him. How upsetting! I wonder if he’ll finally decide to play ruthlessly like the girls, and if it would save him at this point in the game. This week should be fascinating!

In the mean time, if you missed this week’s episode, here’s the “2-Minute Drill” that CBS just posted:

James and Erik have to be quaking in their boots. With the female alliance so strong, I don’t think they can do anything to stop the inevitable from happening. Oh well.
