The Biggest Loser 5: Dan Goes Home

Last night on The Biggest Loser, Jillian was unhappy about losing Black team member, Brittany, leaving only Kelly to represent the team. Host, Alison Sweeney, called them into the elimination room where the contestants completed a pop quiz. Dan (Blue team) won and was rewarded with a piece of chocolate cake and was told that he needs to bring it to the challenge in one piece. Dan went to great lengths to protect the cake since it seems so important and it suddenly disappeared with a note saying that Kelly knew where the cake is. She denied this and when Dan finally found it in the laundry room, Roger admitted to being behind the practical joke (wasn’t funny to me!).

At the challenge, contestants were taken to a basketball arena where they were greeted with all kinds of concession snacks. The objective of the game was to grab snacks and put them on any player’s table. Having the table with the least amount of calories will earn the player $10,000! Wow! Dan immediately put his piece of cake on Kelly’s table and he, along with his blue team members, piled the snacks on to Ali and Kelly’s tables. Jay won the challenge and was told that he could either take the $10,000 or take a one pound pass. Unbelievably, at the weigh-in, Jay took the one pound pass.
Here are the numbers from the weigh-in:
- Jay: 5 pounds + 1 pound pass (2.91%)
- Roger: 6 pounds (2.48%)
- Dan: 1 pound (0.50%)
- Mark: 4 pounds (2.16%)
- Ali: 6 pounds (3.87%)
- Kelly: 7 pounds (3.52%)
Ali was told that she had lost more weight (while on the show) than any other woman in Biggest Loser history.
Dan was pushed below the yellow line with teammate, Mark, and was eliminated. I was crushed because Dan was my favorite.
