Survivor: Micronesia - Jonny Fairplay Gets the Boot

Tonight was a very frustrating time for me to try to write a recap of the season premiere of Survivor: Micronesia. We had a local mass shooting and the show as interrupted about every two minutes for “Breaking News” updates. I can really only give you the bullet about the fact that the Fan Team won immunity and when the Favorites Team went to tribal counsel, Jonny Fairplay was voted out.

Well he didn’t really get the boot. He more or less offered himself up for sacrifice. It is just as well. If he stayed and got the word she is being born he would leave anyways. He really shouldn’t have been there in the first place.

You all are kinder than I am. I could care less if he is having a baby — in fact, I pretty much am sorry for the baby having this as a father. He genuinely appears to be a waste of time and space and, if it’s just a persona, I could have thought of something more interesting for him to act out while blowing my nose.
The only thing that pisses me off is that he will always think he was ‘noble’ and could have ‘won it all’. So sadly mistaken.
