Survivor: China - Trust is Everything…

The show began where last tribal counsel left off. Jeff announced that they would not be heading right back to camp after voting off Frosti. He dismissed the jury members because he told them it didn’t involve them.
They all looked fearful that they would have a second elimination vote, but then Jeff told them the next reward challenge was going to happen right them.
He told them that the winner would be flown by private jet to a temple in the mountains that had been the birth place of kung fu. There would be a kung fu demonstration, a vegetarian meal and they would spend the night in the temple before returning the next day. The winner would get to choose two people to go with them. (Very cool!)
(follow the jump for the rest!)
For the challenge, they were asked questions about Chinese culture. Peih-Gee won the reward and chose to take Erik & Denise to go with her. (Was it political on Peih-Gee’s part? Probably, but I think she made good choices.)
Denise was worried that leaving with Peih-Gee & Erik would make her more vulnerable.
James, Todd, Amanda & Courtney noticed how nice it was for the four of them to be alone on the island. Amanda was thinking it might be the time to make a moveā¦
The kung fu demonstration was awe-inspiring, to say the least. And we found out that Denise had studied karate before coming to China. They asked her to give a short presentation and she did a great job!! Who knew?
What a fabulous reward!! I’m so jealous!! ;-)
Back at camp, it was muddy, raining and miserable. Denise told Todd everything that Peih-Gee and Erik had talked about wile away.
Erik approached James to try to sway him to their side, but James wouldn’t budge. He’s no dummy!
Amanda talked to Courtney about trying to vote off James and take him by surprise.
At the Immunity Challenge, they found out that they would be throwing the ninja stars at targets for the immunity. Erik won immunity.
Amanda, Courtney, Todd & Denise talked and decided that they would tell James they were voting off Peih-Gee, when actually, they were going to blindside James. The risk was if he played on the immunity idols, and whoever the others voted for would go home instead.
Peih-Gee found out that James had the immunity idol and she approached Amanda about voting him off or flushing it out. Amanda was evasive and told her that she was aware and that she should just continue to act like she was going home.
Peih-Gee talked to Erik and they decided to vote for Todd. If James played the idol, Todd would be out, if h didn’t James would be out. (This is upsetting; those are my two favorite players!)
At tribal counsel, James did not play the idol and he was voted out. What a shame. Now, there are no more immunity idols that can be used. Here’s how they all voted.
- Amanda: James
- Peih-Gee: Todd
- Erik: (He wrote so small that I couldn’t tell if he wrote down Todd or James)
- Denise: James
- James: Peih-Gee
- Courtney: James
- Todd: James
So what are your thoughts about James going home without playing either of his two immunity idols? Who do you think is in danger of going next? Leave a comment to share your thoughts!

I CAN NOT BELIEVE JAMES DIDN’T PLAY THE IMMUNITY IDOL!! He should have played it and just start every day on the idea that he’s a target. He should have gotten that clue on the last vote. He may be one of my all-time favorite survivors.
