Reality TV Convention - Crazy First Day

Today has been fun and totally different than I ever would have expected. Things were not nearly as organized as everyone had expected, but those of us who took the time to wait until some of the crowds cleared got plenty of chance to talk to most of the reality stars. All in all, they were all very nice, warm and approachable.

First, I have to say that my life is now complete because Howie Gordon has told me that I “have a nice rack.” Ok, so he also told every other female in the place the same thing, but that’s beside the point… ;-)

And Chicken George is as much fun in person as he seemed on Big Brother! He’ll be the master of ceremonies at tonight’s party, so it should be interesting! He kept telling everyone all day that we should come to the party because Howie is gonig to sing…but then, Howie was doing that all day today too.

And, yes girls, James from Big Brother is even more handsome in person than on TV. (swoons!) He had the longest line for autographs all day long.

And I wish I had gotten a photo of the dress that Flicka from Survivor was wearing…let’s just say that there wasn’t very much of it…she was quite popular today too!

I had a lot of fun talking to Billy Garcia from Survivor: Cook Islands. He’s a very funny, down to Earth guy. He was telling me in great detail about the crazy partying a lot of the group did last night…let’s just say that I didn’t put any of that on film… ;-)

And then I got a chance to talk a bit to Carey Sherrell and Tana Goertz from two different seasons of The Apprentice. Carey now has his own swimsuit line and Tana does public speaking engagements. They are both very nice people. I enjoyed getting to meet them both.

I thought of a great idea late in the day, but will do my best to get it all pulled together tomorrow too. I bought a Reality TV Convention t-shirt and had the stars autograph it. Tana even did her “Be-Dazzler” magic on it! I’ll tell you more about my idea once the t-shirt is complete…so stay tuned.

I have a ton of interviews on video that I need to get edited and uploaded, but those will go up in the next week or so. I won’t tackle that until I’m home again. There was a lot more that happened today than this, but I need to start getting ready for the party! I truly wish you were here! :-)
