Kat Von D Left Miami Ink, But Will Have Her Own Series, LA Ink

The TLC show, Miami Ink was home to Kat Von D last season and in the season finale, she and Ami had words, then she left the show.
But Kat fans, all is not lost! She’s going to be in a new show called LA Ink that will premiere on August 7th on TLC.
Here’s a description of the new show:
Kat Von D has come home to LA to open up her own tattoo shop. She already has a wait-list of clients a mile long including celebrities, rising starlets, punk rockers and tattoo collectors. The news has spread, and before the shop has even opened, it’s clear it will be one of the most popular in LA. But with popularity come headaches, drama, and lots of business streaming through the door.
LA offers a wide variety of clients ranging from Hollywood power brokers to new-age herbalists to hard-core bikers. Every person has a different reason for getting a tattoo and these stories will provide the core of each LA Ink episode. Three of the LA Ink’s artists are women: Kat Von D, Kim Saigh and Hannah Aitchison, setting it apart from most tattoo shops in the country. Renowned underground tattooer Corey Miller whom Kat has idolized and respected for years is the lone male artist. Kat’s friend Pixie will be the shop’s manager.
LA is known for its tattoo culture, and Kat Von D defines it. She lives the fast-paced and rebel lifestyle, playing by her own rules. Hers is a life of freedom: she sets up her own schedule, picks her clients, sleeps late and parties all night. For her shop to be a success, she’ll need to learn to balance that with running her own business. Like others in her world, bartenders, writers, artists, musicians, stylists, and models, Kat’s chosen a career in which she can say whatever she wants to say, look the way she wants to look, and do as she pleases. LA Ink provides a rare glimpse into her world.

I think that your show is fantastic!!! i would love to have my son recieve his first tattoo by you. he has been wanting one for a while and is wanting to get a portriat of his grandfather. I know that you will do very well in LA. good luck

Wow Kat you are amazing at tattooing I to really never wanted one until I seen the way you work and your other ones that work for you,How do you get on the waiting list?I am very excited about getting a tattoo and I like sunflowers,fairys,butterflys.crosses so Ill have to look and see what Id like and last night was the first night I watched your show and it was awesome and I will watch it again and again.

Kat, I have enjoyed watching you for sometime now. I watched you on the other show to get ideals on my own tattoos. I know have 3 tattoos, one with a rose on my cafe with each one of my kids own writing of there names, the rose has 14 petal due to I lost my daughter this feb. and now i’m getting a port. of her on my back with 3 shotting starts, (for my dad, my father-law, and my daughter) then 5 others for the other kids and my grandkids and my husband. I just wanted to let you know keep up the good work you are the best.

Kat, I’ve been searching several states to find a tattoo artist who is really good at portraits. I have been unsucessful. I would like to get a tat of my best friend that died. I know it sounds strange, but it was my dog, my families dog. The story was sad, and I was literally within an hour of having found him before they put him down. It tears my heart, and to have someone comemerate his life with a tattoo on me would seal that tear. I have tried to go to your website and apply for the waiting list, but it won’t allow me too. Maybe your just that full of clients. But I will do what ever I have to to get a tat from you of him.
