You Can Apply for ‘The Alaska Experiment’ at the Reality TV Convention Next Weekend
Next weekend in Nashville, Tennessee, the reality stars will be out. It’s the 2007 Reality TV Convention.
I’ll be there gathering as much information, interviews and photos as humanly possible all weekend as a sponsor for the event.
One of the things planned for the weekend is a casting call for a new reality show called The Alaska Experiment.

Here’s what the show’s site says about it and what they are looking for:
Ricochet Television, the producers of major network television programming (Supernanny/Fat March) are searching America for daring men and women to take part in a brand new adventure docu-series for an undisclosed high profile cable network. The television series will be shot on location in Alaska and is about survival in the great outdoors.
Producers of the new show are casting pairs and trios for this unique opportunity to swap their current life for an environmental experiment. Once selected, the cast will be assisted by a wilderness survival expert who will teach them basic skills in building shelter, preparing for the cold, gathering food, and hunting. America will watch as each team triumphs over the land to achieve personal and team goals.
Do you have what it takes to survive in the unpredictable world of wild Alaska?
You should download and complete the show application and bring it, along with a 3 to 5 minute video of yourself to the Reality TV Convention to apply at the casting call.
I’ll see you there! Good luck! :-)

I am a 38 year old man from Seattle WA. I am a firefighter/paramedic and i have been in physical fitness since the age of 14. My girlfriend is 5′5 and 108lbs and is also in great shape! We have been together for over two years and once had a similiar experience of coming nose to nose with a bobcat while on a hike. After getting out of there, the experience gave us such a rush that we swore we were going to sometime take off for a month and live in the woods. We are normal, safe a edgy people with great personalities and social skills and will take this challenge head on!!! Our personalities for sure are the ones that the entire country would be rooting for after seeing how we work together! If you are looking for an exrtaordinary couple that will give you “TOP” ratings we are waiting here for your call! We are willing to send a video if needed, unfortunately we just cannot make it to Nashville.

I have been watching the show and I think it would be sweet to see some real outdoors people on the show. I can’t watch people who have no backbone. Its very frustrating to see people quit on survival. Sign me up for next year!

How about this….two disabled veterans, A sailor who is 80 percent disabled and a Marine who is 100 percent disabled. We are willing to give it a try and will most likely supprise the viewers. We thrive for experiences like this. Let us on you show.

I agree with Montana Man! I understand that this is just a show to get ratings…but come on, only a couple of these guys would actually survive off of the land and make it out alive! It would be fun to be on, but with all the people wanting to apply and not having a team, I think I will just watch and criticize from my couch!
