Next Food Network Star: Bon Appétit

The show began with the contestants having to do a tag-team recipe preparation on camera with Giada De Laurentiis as a guest judge. It looked like a high-pressure experience, but they managed to somehow pull it off.

The chefs were told that the next challenge prize was the cover recipe for Bon Appétit Magazine. Then they each got to prepare a single recipe and present it to the judges. It was all about the description and the presentation this time.

They each had to make an innovative grilling dish in 90 minutes. They all worked hard and the food looked great.

Rory’s recipe won the cover of Bon Appétit. Micheal was a close second. Both of them were safe from elimination this week.

Nikki was eliminated. What a shame. She seems to have a great personality, but came across as flat on the screen.

I’m really liking JAG, his energy is incredible. So far, he’s my pick to win the season. I like Michael too. Colombe seems like a space cadet.
