New Reality Series Casting Call in Atlanta Today!
Remember the Pussycat Dolls Present: the Search for the Next Doll? Well, now they’ve decided to create a whole new women’s group instead of looking for a new member of an existing one. But if you are in Atlanta, you’d better hurry!
The open casting call there is today! Here are the details:
The Executives of Interscope Records, in association with CBS & THE CW will be launching an open casting call in Atlanta this weekend for next a televised reality series in search for a BRAND NEW music group of females?
SATURDAY JUNE 9TH 2007

12:00pm - 4:00pmProducers are looking for diverse young women (ages 18 and over) from all walks of life to showcase female talent and empowerment, self-discovery and personal transformation.
Applicants must prepare a 3-minute performance incorporating both singing and dancing elements. All applicants must be dressed and ready to perform at the audition. Applicants are required to bring all music used in their audition. Music will not be provided.

Oh, good. One Pussycat Dolls (the deep, pithy, Zeitgeist-laden singing group) is not enough. This will be way better than that dopey Veronica Mars –oh, frak!
These people are utter geniuses! If only they could make two or three more Milli Vanillis, and at least that many more New Kids on the Blocks!
Thank god for Mensa and the CW’s programming directors.
