Last season was the first season I watched Next Food Network Star. I pegged Guy as the winner from the very first episode. I Haven’t yet finished watching the full two hours (TiVo) but I’m hoping I can pick a winner this season too!

I LIKE ADRIEN. HE HAS THE LOOKS, THE PERSONALITY, HE IS THE MOST LEVEL HEADED, AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE CAN COOK!

True to our culture’s double standards, the Food Network has once again chosen only beautiful female contestants. As usual, with the men, anything goes - case in point, last year’s winner…And oh yes, it doesn’t hurt to show a little cleavage on one’s weekly show, a la Giada. How pathetic.

This year the 2 remaiing women really do nothing for me. Rory…all you can see are a mouth full of teeth..why do dentists use such huge fake teeth..she is always touching her hair and then going back to the food.
Amy is not desirable to watch..I would not watch either one of them and I am adicted to Foodnetwork

I don’t think they have a star in this seasons contestants. I think they will pick Paul, unfortunately. He drives me crazy with his frantic actions, twirling, goofy behavior that is nowhere near funny or humerous (just stupid). My favorite is JAG, but I’m a little concerned about the stories I’ve read regarding miitary promotions that did or did not happen; the culinary education that did or did not occur. Why would he lie about these things and did’nt he realize the truth would come out? Rory’s teeth are tooooo much for me. All I see….TEETH! Amy is just boring, but might perk up some after some time with the camera.

Josh’s (Jag) performance on Rachel Ray really annoyed me - he can’t cook & talk at the same time. Also, his calling her “honey” was patronizing and offensive to me.

Rory DOES NOT deserve to be in the top two. She probably slept her way to the top.

    Or CHEWED her way in.

Out of the final two I have to vote Amy. Don’t need more cleavage. We get enough of that with Giada. I really don’t care for Rory at all. I think I would have prefered any of the male finaist over these two

I REALLY LIKE THE FOOD SHOWS, IF I HAD TO CHOOSE WHO TO WATCH; IT WOULD BE AMY..SHE’S MORE NORMAL, AND DOWN TO EARTH, RORY IS GREAT, PUT HER A RIDING BULL @ BILLYBOB’S, AND SHE’S SURE TO WIN, IF I DON’T ENJOY WATCHING THE SHOW, I’M NOT GOING TO FIND OUT IF HE/SHE MAKES GOOD FOOD OR NOT.

    why did jag leave?????????????????????

dee: JAG took himself out of the competition when rumors started to surface about discrepancies in his background. He admitted to the judges that he had misrepresented some things in his background. (He had told them he had graduated from culinary school and he had not graduated, etc.) They accepted his resignation and put Amy in as the other top two contestant.

I was devastated. I don’t like Rory and Amy just doesn’t have the personality. I really wanted JAG to win.

Oh, well. At least he owned up to his situtation. That took guts. ~~ Lynn

I am so glad Rory didn’t win. I would have never been able to tolerate her for an entire show
