Hours 6 & 7

Here’s the continuation of the Most Haunted Live US broadcast. We are now beginning the sixth of seven hours that the team is investigating the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philiadelphia.

Leslie had still been researching the location and says that both visitors to the site and the people who work there all experience paranormal things there.

She also found a document about Al Capone who had come there shortly after the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre and could be heard at night screaming, “Jimmy, leave me alone!” in his cell. He was referring to James Clark, one of the victims of the massacre. Apparently, the ghost of the man followed him till the end of his days and he was known to see the ghost regularly the rest of his life.

Another strange fact about Al Capone’s time there. In the hospital, he had his tonsils out and he was circumcised. He died of syphilis and in those days, before antibiotics, the treatment was circumcision. (Strange…)

The team has regrouped and is about to enter cell block 14. Yvette tells the team that the viewers have voted to send David to death row all lone. He isn’t too happy about it.

The others are teasing him by saying things like, “Dead man walking!” Poor David! But then, he’s the best on toe know what happened.

The rest of the team is now worried because without him, they have no psychic protection. The team decided to investigate some of the cells. Karl suggested that they all try to think about things as if they are in the prison as prisoners. To roll play.

Yvette asked Ciarán to explain what EVP is. It’s electronic voice phenomenon. He explained that often while investigating the paranormal, people have found that if they ask out to spirit when a recorder is on, then leave a short space of time, there’s sometimes a voice on the recording when they play it back.

Yvette asked the spirits to talk to them. Just then, a pebble dropped. They played it back and there was something there. They decided to try again.

She asked if they need their help. There was something like a breathy sound. They tried one more time. She asked them to tell her their name. They weren’t sure if there was anything that time.

There was a whistle down the corridor. There was knocking in response to Yvette again. Yvette asked how many people had stood in the cell they were in and there were three knocks.

Yvette whistled and there was a whistle in response. She asked to have it whistle how many people were in the cell and it whistled 3.

Karl said that he had hard that David was having problems in death row and they told him that he could come out if he needed to. They thought they had heard him shout. David said it wasn’t him.

Yvette asked if the spirits could hear her, they should make a nose. There was a definite voice noise.

There was a shouting voice down the hall. They decided to go investigate it.

Yvette threw a marble and asked the spirits to throw it back. She tried again. One fell from the ceiling and hit her on the arm. We could see it hit her arm. She dropped one down the stairs and a marble came dropping from the ceiling. (Cool! I never thought of playing catch with a ghost before!)

Karl tried throwing the marbles and nothing came back. They heard a large heavy rumble, but the people outside told them there had been no thunder.

They heard a groan down the hall.

Apparently, no inmate was ever executed in the prison, but there was a death row. They heard that David had just run out of death row.

Karl & Stuart were on the level just above the others and they could all see each other. Yvette said that the entire team was going to go to death row together.

Yvette asked David if he’s alright and he answered, “Not really, no.”

They kept hearing little pebbles thrown around. David said there had been something shuffling around in the cell behind him. Then the spirit stepped in front of him. He had his head shaved for execution. David said he got very freaked out, but the man wouldn’t communicate.

He said that the walkie talkie he had with him didn’t work.

Yvette asked the spirit to yell at them. Nothing. David asked them to affect Karl & Stuart upstairs. Ciarán said he was getting interesting readings on the EMF meter. He said that the meter was through the roof and fluctuating wildly.

Yvette they should all get ready to take all the experiments together in death row.

Six hours have been completed in the investigation. Leslie said that no one had been executed there because it was a holding place for the death row inmates, but they would be transferred to another place to be executed.

She said that the most famous person to escape from the prison had been Willie Sutton. He had been a great bank robber and prison breaker. He had done it in many prisons.

In 1925 a man was seen running naked through the street because he had thought it would be a good idea to escape in a large pot of hot ashes. His clothes were burned off.

She said that people had escaped in garbage, in barrels, by digging tunnels. Someone had made a rope from dental floss and had used it to escape.

The team is now in place on death row. Karl had some new scratches on his back and had thrown Stuart over the bars of the balcony and Stuart had been caught by the bars. Stuart had some injuries on his back. Karl said he couldn’t help doing it because he had seemed to be in another time.

David was upset with them because they kept asking them to surround themselves with protection and stop asking the spirits to do things to them.

David told them that when a spirit takes them over, there isn’t any way to control it. Karl still refused protection.

Yvette told Karl & Stuart to sit out the rest of the investigation and Karl refused.

Ciarán checked things with his meters and the team understandable seemed intimidated. Yvette started to feel sick; David said he heard a heavy breath.

Shaggy, the sound man, passed out. Stuart is now holding the boom microphone. Yvette said that they were all feeling nauseous. There had been a stone thrown at them.

They all pondered that the people who had been there had known it to be their last place on Earth.

David called out to the spirits to show themselves or to communicate with them. Nothing yet.

Yvette knocked twice and asked for a response. Nothing.

They decided to get a Ouija board set up and start some new experiments.

They started to hear knocks. They heard footsteps in the corridor.

They decided to throw a marble to see if it would be thrown back. Nothing.

David, Yvette and the others tried to raise the energy and attract the spirits. They chanted a Hebrew prayer that seems to often work.

They started the séance with the Ouija board. David said that Joseph was there now. They put a fingertip each on the glass in the middle of the table and asked for a sign. The glass dumped over, because the spirit wanted them to leave.

The glass just stared going in circles. The glass went and stopped on K. It went to I. It went to L. It went to L. “KILL.”

David asked if that was aimed at them. The glass went to “YES.”

They asked for the spirit to spell its name. It went to C. David said it was the big shaved head man he had seen before.

The glass went to G. Yvette got a pin in her hand. The glass went in front of Kath. Then the glass turned on its side. It turned over again.

The team asked for the spirit to shatter the glass.

It went to G again. They realized it was going to Stuart. They asked if the spirit doesn’t like Stuart. It went to him again.

Leslie Smith said that the big hit for her had been the James & John that the team came up with. The sense of the place was amazing too. The penitentiary is a very unique place and she said she was impressed with the goings on that evening.

She said it had been the grimmest place they had explored before.

The team returned to the main area of the prison. They talked about their feelings and observations over the evening.

Yvette said it had been the best ever. David was relived to get out. And that the paranormal experiences had been constant.

Karl showed the blood on his sleeve and the scratches on his back. They were horrible. He said he didn’t remember anything about attacking Stuart. He wants to see the tapes.

Ciarán said that he was so overwhelmed by all the things that happened. He said that he couldn’t explain some of the things with science and psychology.

Yvette said that there was a lot more going on than they could even explain.

They all said they were going to stay up the rest of the night and talk about it.

They said that they will be back in the US to do Most Haunted Live again very soon!!! That’s great news!!!
