‘On the Lot’ Eliminated Three Directors
Tonight we got to see the directors move into the bungalow and talk about the first screening.
Jason talked about his movie and the fact that he had not intended to offend anyone with it. The judges thought the character was mentally challenged, he said it was just a nerd.
Kenny said that the judges had not understood his movie, but that America would understand it.
When the group of 18 was asked who thought they were going home, Hilary, Phil and Jason raised their hands. After the audience votes were revealed, Carolina (Deliver Me), Claudia (Blind Date) and Phil (Please Hold) were the three to be eliminated.
The top three films were from Zach (Danger Zone), Will (Lucky Penny) and Jason (Getta Rhoom). (Jason?? WTF?!?)
I hate to see the female directors go. Garry Marshall said that they need more women directors and I agree. But, what can we do?
I have to say that I was surprised that Kenny and Jason stayed, but I’m happy with all of the others. Now I can’t wait to see what the directors come up with for next week. And be sure to check back here as I blog it live.

I thought the Lucky Penny was funny but I also thought that Jason’s was good too. I can see how some folks would have taken it the wrong way but it was cool. :)
