Survivor: Fiji - Let’s Make a Deal
The show began with Boo clearing a path to use to listen in on secret conversations between people at the water source. He was feeling very proud of himself for being so sneaky. (Hey, it worked for Stacy and Cassandra already this season, why not Boo?)

Earl said that the plan was to get rid of Boo next, now that Alex was gone. They all saw him as a threat and were ready to vote him out.
Yau Man said that he was starting to have a lot more fun because there was a lot more collusion among the players and he was enjoying doing a lot more strategizing. (The guy is amazing! Go, Yau!!)
All the while the group was talking at camp about getting rid of Boo, he was standing in his little path and saying that he would be able to know if anyone started talking about him. (Funny! They were, just not where he thought…)

The reward challenge was the car reward. Anyone who is a long-time fan of Survivor knows that there’s a car curse. No one who has ever won the car has gone on to win the game.

Dreamz said that he was the only one of the players who didn’t already have a car. He comes from a tough background and it’s times like those where it really stands out. For his sake, I was hoping that he would get the car. Besides, if the curse held true, that would mean that he wouldn’t win. (I still want You Man to win it.)
Then they showed Yau’s face. You could tell he was thinking about it. (Hmmm. I wonder what he’s got up his sleeve…)
The six divided into teams of three. The reward was a Ford F-350. The winning team would use it to deliver a huge load of school supplies to a nearby school and then have a feast.

The winning three would also compete against each other and the winner would get the truck. The winner would also decide who would go to Exile Island.
Boo, Yau Man and Stacy won the first leg of the challenge. Then when the three went against each other, Yau Man won it. (Woo-hoo!)

Then, in a stroke of genius, Yau Man offered to make a deal with Dreamz. Yau asked Dreamz if the two of them got to the final four and Dreamz won the immunity, would he give it to Yau Man. Dreamz said he promised to do that. (Whoa! Big risk! Dreamz has already double-crossed everyone so far. Yau is a betting man, for sure!)

Yau Man then did the second stroke of genius, he sent himself to Exile Island so he could get another clue to find the hidden idol.
What amazing strategy!! First of all, he is thinking about the jury votes and not making anyone mad at him by sending them to EI. But he was also planning to find the other idol and use it to his advantage. If he finds it, someone outside of his alliance can’t. And by giving the car away, he is not only helping a person who truly needs it, but he is planning for a future big move in the game. The man is fabulous!!!! I’m in awe!!
It was incredibly cool to see the faces on the school kids when he Survivors showed up with all the supplies for them. That is one of the things I always enjoy about Survivor. They do good deeds during their visits to the locations. In fact, Ethan was changed by his season’s trip to the place to help HIV patients in Africa. He now has a foundation that helps them. Very cool, indeed.

Dreamz was thinking too. He realized that if he had to give Yau Man the immunity right off his neck, it would mean that he would be gone. He knew he had to get rid of Yau before the final four.
Dreamz started to campaign with Cassandra to get rid of Yau Man next. She said she agreed with his strategy. They both wanted Earl and the two of them to be the final three.

At the immunity challenge, Boo won immunity. That upset the plans Earl had made with the others. Now the negotiations would really start.

Yau Man, true to his word, told Earl the final clue to the other immunity idol. They made the plans to find it. Earl found the idol easily with all the clues.

Yau Man could tell that none of the other players would look him in the eye. He told Earl that he had a bad feeling about the vote.

At the tribal counsel, Stacy made a statement that alerted Yau Man to the fact that the alliance would make a split vote. He played the idol to protect himself.

Because everyone else voted for Yau Man, none of the votes counted except for the two made by Earl and Yau. That meant that Stacy had to go.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Yau Man is incredible!! It’s like he’s psychic. He just always knows what to do next. I’m even going to venture as far as to say that Yau Man is the best strategic player ever to play Survivor.
What do you think? Were you surprised by the way the vote went? Were you hoping for something else?
Who are you rooting for as we go into the season finale on Sunday night? Who do you hope gets eliminated next? Leave a comment to share your thoughts!
