Amazing Race All-Stars: Shocker Elimination!

The show started with the teams having to fly over 800 miles to Punta Arenas, Chile. then they ahd to take a taxi 15 miles to a shipwreck to get the next clue.

Eric and Danielle were telling the camera about how they get along in the race. Eric said that he pretty much treats her like a guy, except that she has nicer boobs.

Most of the teams made it on the first flight. The teams that had to wait for the second flight were Team Guido, Charla & Mirna.

Uchenna asked the flight attendant on their flight for directions to the shipwreck, but she handed it to Rob. He didn’t give it to Uchenna. Dirty playing, now that’s the Rob we all remember…

The clue at the shipwreck was a detour. They had to choose between “navigate it” or “sign it”.

In navigate it, they had to use a map of Punta Arenas to get to the town plaza, get a compass, then head straight south to find the Nautilus building. It was a deep sea diving business and they got the next clue there.

In sign it, teams had to choose a pole and a set of building supplies, carry them up some stairs, then create a traditional sign post pointing to Magellan’s 14 waypoints on his voyage around the world.

Rob & Amber chose the sign challenge, but Rob misspelled Philippines, so they were very slow to get it done. Uchenna and Joyce got the wrong starting and end point for the trip and were delayed. Uchenna & Joyce finally figured it out, but Rob & Amber switched to the other task with the Barbies.

Mirna & Charla yelled at each other constantly during the whole leg of the race. It’s getting really annoying having to see them argue constantly…

After the detour, the teams had to go to the airport and sign up for charter planes leaving 3 hours apart. (Yikes!) They then had to fly 165 miles to the town of Ushuaia, Argentina, then find a certain beach to get the next clue.

After getting to the next clue, they had to go to a bay and take a boat to Isla Redonda. It’s also known as the end of the world because it is the sounthernmost tip of South America. They had to find the post office to get the next clue.

The clue was a road block so only one team member could perform the task. That person had to take on the postmaster duties and sort the mail. They had to sort through 1600 pieces of mail to find one of two envelopes addressed to their team. The letter was written by a team from their first season on the Amazing Race. They would then have to read it to their partner before they could get the next clue.

During the task, Team Guido kept saying not to get a paper cut or ruin the manicure. How funny!

After completing the task, they had to go on foot around the island to find the overlook that was the pit stop. The teams arrived in this order:

1. Oswald & Danny - they won a trip for two to Maui
2. Eric & Danielle
3. Teri & Ian
4. Joe & Bill (Team Guido)
5. Dustin & Kandice (the Barbies)
6. Uchenna & Joyce
7. Charla & Mirna
8. Rob & Amber!!!! They got eliminated!!

I’m totally shocked that they were eliminated. They came in first during the first three legs of the race. I was hoping it would be either Rob & Amber to win, or Uchenna & Joyce. So now I guess I’m going to have to root solely for Uchenna & Joyce. I just completely don’t want the Barbies or Charla & Mirna to win. I just don’t like them.
