Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Has Been Nominated for a Genesis Award!
The Genesis Awards are a prestigious award for entertainment that promotes animal rights. According to the Awards web site:
The Genesis Awards, presented by the Hollywood Office of The HSUS pays tribute to the major news and entertainment media for producing outstanding works in television, film, print and the arts which raise public understanding of animal issues. Genesis Awards are presented annually at a star-studded ceremony drawing representatives from the media, entertainment, social, business and humane communities. Known as the nation’s premier consciousness-raiser, the awards are bestowed by a host of celebrity presenters, and the event is taped for broadcast to expose millions of viewers to animal wrongs—and animal rights.
Just as interesting is the fact that reality stars, Ed Begley, Jr. from Living With Edand Jay McCarroll, first season winner of Project Runway are on the Honorary Committee for the organization.

my daughter school writes to business, and they send donations to be auctioned at the end of the year, we would love extreme make over t-Shirt so they can raise money for the school, we love your show, and so deeply touched every single time, you all are awesome, for helping us americans, every shape, form and color luv ya

I only get to watch your show on Saturday nights, but I trule belive that you all do such an incredable job in making family’s dreams come true. Watching your show has brought to tear- happy tears for all of the wonderful work that you have done. Keep up the excellant work.
