Beauty & the Geek 3: Super Frustrating News!! And Super Good News!!

Ok, I admit, perhaps this will only prove to be totally frustrating to me, but I have to tell you about the “interview…”

Early in the week, I was thrilled to get an exclusive interview with Niels Hoven of The Beauty and the Geek. He was witty, clever, interesting and seems like a really nice guy. We had a 15 minute chat that I thought was recording properly and that I had planned to publish as a podcast.

When I hung up the phone, I found out that there had been a serious technical malfunction. I was only recording one of our two voices, and unfortunately, it was mine. :-( I would have been thrilled if it had been his, because I could have dubbed in my questions later. But, no….

I sent the file to a professional video producer friend of mine who had two different sound engineers use all their high-tech gizmos to try to pull the voice out of the mush…with no luck!!

And then, I came down with the relapse of the flu from hell and had no voice to do another interview with him. *sigh*

The good news is that he had agreed to do another interview after the season finale with his thoughts on how the finale ended up. If he forgives me for being a technical doofus, you’ll be able to check back here the day or so after the finale airs on Wednesday to download and listen to the “new and improved” interview with Niels Hoven.

Be sure to check back! If the next interview with Niels is even half as fun as the first was, you’ll enjoy it! :-)
