Reality Shows Made the Best of 2006 List
TV.com has released their list of the best of 2006 and it comes as no surprise to reality TV fans that the genre was highly represented on the list. The winners for each category will be chosen by votes from fans. Here are the nominations, go make your voice count. Check it out:
Project Runway was on the list for Best Show of 2006 - “This popular Bravo show is the only reality series in the running for the prestigious Show of the Year title. How will it measure up to the fierce competition?” Vote for it here!!
Dancing With the Stars was on the list for Best Reality - “This is definitely one of the most entertaining reality shows to come along in recent memory. The dead heat between Mario Lopez (Saved by the Bell) and Dallas Cowboy running back Emmitt Smith made for some exciting drama in the last few episodes of the show’s third season. Although Lopez lost out in the final episode based on the audience’s vote, the show’s popularity has seen no defeats and seems to be gaining strength.
